There is a banner hold on my account from the library. How do I get it removed?

613 views   |   0 Vote this question as useful.   0 Vote this question as not useful.   |   Last updated on Feb 03, 2020

The library places holds on patron accounts for materials that are considered lost. This means the item(s) is overdue for an excessive amount of time. A hold may be removed if the item(s) is returned in good condition. Any other circumstances please contact our library associate to discuss the removal of your hold.

I'm a Dual Enrollment Student. How do I get & return my books for class?

557 views   |   0 Vote this question as useful.   0 Vote this question as not useful.   |   Last updated on Feb 03, 2020

Dual enrollment students on the Swainsboro campus can pick up and drop off their books at the EGSC library. All dual enrollment students must return their books in good condition, to receive books for the next semester, and to receive transcripts after graduation. Off-site students will receive emails at the beginning and end of each semester directing them times & places to pick-up and drop-off their books. Off-site students must receive/return the books in the given timeframe, or be solely responsible for picking up/returning said books. Please refer to the contract you sign at the beginning of each semester.

Answer: no! We do not sell textbooks, scantrons, pencils, or school supplies. We are happy to lend you study kits, calculators, and laptops for short periods of time for in-library use. We may also have a copy of your textbook that you may use in the library.  However, if you are looking to purchase these items you will need to go to the bookstore.
